Contigo Stainless Steel Water Bottle ($16-$22)
I purchased two Contigo Stainless Steel Water Bottles this summer right before a week long camping trip. I chose to purchase Contigo water bottles for my two 10 year olds, because they were cheaper than the HydroFlask (my favorite water bottles) and I was looking to save a bit of money.
The Contigo Stainless Steel Water Bottles come with one standard lid (I searched online and couldn’t find replacements) with a silicone spout, are insulated (so they don’t sweat) and have no paint on them. I chose one with a blue lid and one with pink so we could tell them apart.
Several months later these water bottles are both in good shape. They have a few dents in them but still work great. The Contigo Stainless Steel Water Bottles have a double layered bottom which means even when they are dented they still sit flat. The silicone spout is uncovered, so if you are a germaphobe, this water bottle may make you uncomfortable.
*insulated so they don’t sweat
*double lined bottom, so they sit flat even after being dented
*stands up pretty well to daily use by kids
*no alternate lid selections
*no colors selection
*dents fairly easily
These water bottles are affordable and have stood up well being used by my children. They are not as sturdy as other water bottles, but I consider them a good value for your money.
The Contigo Stainless Steel Water Bottles get 4 out of 5 stars: I like it, but it could be better.
